Castle Crag in the Rain

Our last day in the Lake District and our planned group walk from Ellterwater was cancelled last night due to the bad weather forecast.  Well, for once the weatherman was right, the weather is rubbish.  We went for a walk this afternoon along the lakeside as far as Friars Crag on Derwentwater. Shot this from the "beach"close by. The weather so muted the colour that a mono conversion actually looked better!
