House hunting?

This coot was cruising the farm pond at lunchtime looking for a place to build his/her nest I imagine. Yesterday there were a couple of Eider Ducks on the water but every time I went near them with the camera they were off. I tip-toed round the back of the house to get this shot. If the farmer was watching he didn't let it be known. He thinks I'm deranged anyway.

Had to get the AA out to fix a flat tyre yesterday.. No problem and a great service. Then today I got a cold call, uninvited on the ex directory house phone I gave him to contact me. (We're hard to find). It was AA Insurance. I wonder how many other people they passed my number to. I'm so bloody annoyed.
