Flower Friday . . . Coffee Table Flowers

Daphne is a winter favourite because of its perfume.  
I haven't achieved much today.  The forester was given Granny Smith apples yesterday and today he made apple sauce and put it in jars.  The house smells sweetly of apples.  This evening it is Friday night drinks with the street so we will catch up on the gossip.  I am making cheese rolls because Keri at No4 is from Southland and loves them.  We brought her back a large swede from our travels.  I don't know if we will be able to eat all of our swede as it is huge.  I think swede are cattle food but good for humans too mashed with lots of butter.  They look a bit bigger than Rutabaga.  
Happy weekend to all.  Ours is looking wet.  Could be an opportunity to settle in with the gorgeous Lupin on Netflix.
