Building bales ....

A morning spent sorting out and vaccinating some more bulling heifers and running them out to a field. Not quite as nice natured as yesterday’s Hereford ones, but that will be the Angus/ Saler breeding !
An afternoon shifting round bales of straw out the silage shed as I will need to get it cleared out and ready for when we start first cut , possibly next week.
After tea tonight I started to load these wee straw bales onto the trailer as we use them to hold the plastic sheets down round the silage put walls. Got fed up after the first 100, will get the rest tomorrow.
It is now tipping down with rain tonight. We need a drop , as long as it remembers to stop !
