Integrated

Yesterday's newcomers were integrated into the main group on the pasture today. They are smaller, so the first contacts looked a bit rough, but soon they seemed to go well together.

I intended to bring one more load of silage in the morning, but changed my mind, as there was a lot of dew and also a little drizzle, so no hope of it drying soon. Closing the pit took most of the day and we had to dismantle the high side panels of the trailer to make it suitable for fetching sawdust.

When the new heifers were moooved, the sawdust was still out. Spread it on the pits with Jussi in the evening. Luckily a much cooler day than previous, as it was a sweaty job even at +22°C.
