Turntable

I'm no hi-fi snob, I'm really not, but I thought that I'd spend my birthday money from my folks this year on a new turntable (and a few new albums to play on it). It's replacing the Technics one that I got for Christmas when I was 16 or 17 - one or the other - back in the mid-1980s. I've certainly had my money's worth over the last thirty five years.

It got set-up mid afternoon and I'm loving it already.

First record played on it was Sleaford Mods' 'Spare Ribs' (pictured!), followed by the reissue of 3MB featuring Magic Juan Atkins. And currently there's another new purchase playing, summat that I didn't buy at the time of release but have really grown to love since.
