The filling in a damp sandwich....

........ that was my day today and what an enjoyable filling it was too. It started with a jolly coffee meet with friends, including a few lovely homemade treats. Then later in the afternoon, I had a lovely walk with J in very atmospheric surroundings. The clouds were quite low lying, obscuring the tops of the hills and beneath our feet at some points of it was distinctly boggy (although easily avoided). There was a good crop of bog cotton in the bog (where else would it be?), although it was looking a bit bedraggled in the damp air.
