Not Italy

It's Niles/Skokie (to the north of Chicago).

A local business owner apparently built this 1/2 scale model of the Leaning Tower of Pisa back in the 30s as part of a recreation park for his employees (apparently it was a water tower and pumping station for the swimming pools).

Nothing left of the park that I could see, though there is a YMCA and a strip mall on what was probably the grounds. There's a similar structure in Tampa that I'll blip when we get home.
