Camping
Last night was glorious, and would have been great for camping, but K and her friends had planned for tonight so set off under dull skies and light rain. With the true veggie out of the house, A made an excellent venison casserole for dinner, after which I set off with Django. The Estate would have been dull, so we took the old railway. The route begins at Valleyfield Pond, which is a singularly uninspiring addition to the modern estate built where the paper mills used to be. Thank goodness for the yellow iris. We ended up going a long way, but I followed the exciting football, and got back in time for the German goal that put out the Hungarians and secured a game against England.
