Scapes

Garlic scapes from either Nairn or Isle of Wight garlic bulbs. I can't remember which but I rather think this is the Nairn variety. I did make a note which was which when I planted them but that note has been mislaid. The scapes have now been snipped off (probably a bit late) to let the plant put its energy into the underground cloves. They'll be chopped up and used as a garnish for mushroom risotto tonight.

Usual busy Wednesday with our two year old granddaughter here from 07:00 for the day. It's been all go and luckily outside most of the day. Then yoga, quick mushroom risotto (with garlic scape garnish) and straight into Community Council zoom. Working tomorrow and Friday so an early night for me.
