a denizen of the river walk I've not mentioned before although evidence of their presence abounds along much of the walk. I've usually only caught a head disappearing they are so quick. This one was busy digging.

        I watched a beaver working at dam maintenance for quite a while too.

       I took the extra just because . . . smoky and a bit cloudy. The forest service has finally made the decision to close the forest beginning 6AM Thursday 24 June.
