I now have a certified double black belt in cleaning . There isn't anything I don't know how to clean or any stain that I can't get out. Wasn't hard to read from front to back. Especially helpful was the section on how to properly wash kitchen ware and glassware in particular. For instance, did you know that some fine crystal can't go in a dishwasher and should be washed and dried by hand? Or that you're supposed to vacuum lamp shades instead of wiping them with a wet cloth? Who knew. How about cleaning feathers? Did you know you're supposed to put them in a plastic ziplock bag with a mixture of salt and cornmeal, gently shake them and then blow the stuff off with a hairdryer? That is if your parrot will let you.

I shouldn't make fun. This publication was probably meant for someone who hasn't played house for thirty odd years.
