Mushroom Soil
Rainy but mild temps most of the day. In anticipation, we completed our outside tasks yesterday. Had my follow up with the cardiologist this morning. All tests look great but she wants to check for calcium deposits in the veins and arteries which are usually found in senior citizens. My daughter’s news wasn’t as good. They found two gastric ulcers, one that was bleeding. Another issue that was supposed to be fixed in her last surgery was not. She is calling her surgeon for next steps. Poor girl, she has been in such pain. We cleaned house, Hubby picked up the last two of my meds, deposited checks, and I took two of the grands home from volunteering at the parish summer camp. It would be so much easier if we could get all our meds’ schedules in sync. Still have leftovers so dinner will be a snap. Hopefully, we will be ready to begin our journey bright and early tomorrow. Would you look at my garden? It is a jungle. I have tied up the tomatoes but it is still hard to get through the aisle. The man who sold us the top layer of “mushroom soil” promised good results but this is ridiculous. “Gardening simply does not allow one to be mentally old, because too many hopes and dreams are yet to be realized.” - Allan Armitage.
