Hadrian woz ‘ere

Another brilliant but very different day! We saw lots of birds, but mostly at some distance. The weather was glorious so being driven through the stunning Northumbrian landscape was a real joy. We were taken first to a number of sites along Kielder Water and Kielder Forest (the extra is a spot in the Forest overlooking a small lake) and the to some fine spots along Hadrian’s Wall. The view in the main image is captured from Steel Rigg - possibly the best known view along the Wall.
