Distant Deer

Actually not that distant, in the field behind my garden. There is a little band of three that come to graze on the long grass and thistles. They won't stay if there is anyone in the garden so this is taken from the bedroom window - just before I leaned too close to the glass with my 300 mm lens and scared them away.

While I love their closeness, they bear unwelcome gifts. The cats have had their first application of tick and flea repellent this year!
