A day's work!

I didn't set out to do this job but it definitely needed doing! The patio which is very poorly laid needed needs much attention! After a full day of working on it I have managed to clear about half of weeds, by removing and then replacing the flags. They are still uneven in places but a great improvement on how they were. They don't move when you stand on them now! I didn't have the proper equipment to make a good job but none-the-less it looks a whole lot better. Extra photos are the start of the job and the other half still left to do! As you can see Reggie was pleased to have a weed free vista from his favourite spot when the sun is shining!
Another difficult start to the day with mum who was almost in tears during our morning call. I made some calls to the care team where she lives and bless them they were on it straight away. By the end of the day she had several things sorted and was in much better spirits. Such a relief for me to have someone to call on.
Our group of three, WhatsApp "ladies who lunch" had a group chat culminating in a lunch date on Wednesday in Allendale. So good to be meeting up with friends again.
