Delightful

Shape, color and their perfume...

First day of summer, rather grey.
Weeding, harvesting, it is several weeks already that we eat what the garden offers.
The artichoke harvest is over. The strawberry plants produce every day enough for a nice dessert. I wish my grandchildren would be here to help picking.

Late workout at the gym.

Sad news from my friend in Istanbul whose mother died after a very short illness.
And from my sister who got a new hip in Hamburg (Germany) and whose healing process is not going according to plan. Lots of complications are making her miserable...
Of course I am worried.
