Cormorant drying out

Weather is nice ,sun trying to push through the clouds. I want some early autumn shots for calendar photos. I went to the scenic reserve to see how autumn was shaping up. I think I am a bit early, the colour is starting to show but not really not what I want at the moment.
I practically stumbled over this bird. I was photographing the toitoi along the stream when this bird surfaced and climbed up on the stump to dry. Took a few images , I was happy to get a couple of reasonable sharp images to work with.
