Getting there

I have spent quite a bit of time in the garden today and although we still have a lot to do in it and we still have spaces where we don't want spaces, it is coming on. Thankfully it is a MUCH smaller garden than we had before and it is all on one level but it's enough for us and we are beginning to enjoy sitting in it! Considering there was nothing in the garden at all when we moved in about 20 months ago we feel quite pleased with how it's coming on.

A friend of mine has written her first novel and I have been reading it through for her - a huge honour. I have really enjoyed it, I have a feeling I might be seeing it on the shelves in Waterstone's before TOO long, that will be strange but wonderful!

I am feeling much better, as you can possibly tell. Thank goodness. Hope you are all enjoying this lovely weekend, cold but bright.
