Simmer Dim 2021

A breezy day, calm tonight.  A sunny morning, cloudy in the afternoon, and more sunshine in the evening, cloudy at sunset.

I've been working in the airport all day, and boarded more Shetland drama cast.  This time Steven Robertson, who is originally from Shetland.  We also had a small jet land in the afternoon.  Popped down to Shannon's this evening, and then walkies with Julie and the dogs. 

The longest day has arrived, due to the cloud, we didn't get our 19 hours of sunshine, and cloud at sunset made a rather boring sky too.  Sunset tonight was about 22.40, this was taken at 20.20.  The simmer dim nights will last for a few weeks yet, and will be through July before we see anything that resembles darkness.  I just love this time of year, spending time outside late at night.  Taken at the Ness of Ireland.
