The show goes on ...

The Midsummer Show at the Scottish Crannog Centre went ahead  as planned, only ten days after the Crannog itself sadly  burned down in a fire. 

The team at the centre have shown great reliance in re-opening and continuing after such a blow.

It was a pleasure to be there tonight and hear traditional tunes, watch acrobats and listen to the wonderful Iona Fyfe accompanied by Michael Biggins.

The volunteers shepherding around were wonderful and it was good to learn about future plans. 

A lovely way to mark the solstice.
