Amethyst sunbird....

I have not seen this bird before - it looks completely black but has a spot of colour underneath the chin and on the back feathers.  This is the male and he is bigger than most of the other sunbirds around!  He was very high up in the tree so photos are not great!

Spent the day at home.  News today is that the mortuarys are full in Lusaka as so many people are dying and there is a real shortage of oxygen!  I have a friend admitted to the biggest hospital today - just praying that he recovers!  Its a tense time for everyone.
