Low Down Colour
I had a new delivery address today (which I suspect may be a regular).
If I thought finding my one off delivery last week was hard - this one was a nightmare despite it being in 'Main Street'. Again, an Asian shopkeeper had no idea of where anything was in the way of addresses or street names - and neither did the locals!
I eventually found it .... above the shop!!
As far as I could make out the numbering goes - Church, 12, 14 (above unnumbered shops), 2, 4 ........ and then stops.
What makes it even more galling is the village is only within our Region due to some strange decision from the map drawer. I am sure they must have sneezed when drawing the boundary because there is no reason for the boundary to have it go round the village the way it does.
The call of nature reached me when I was in the middle of nowhere, so I thought I would take a picture of the nature (and the wind turbines) while I was there. Getting down to it was much more colourful than from eye level.
We went out after 6pm to go and give The Cygnet his birthday present (after he had finished his on-line French lesson) and to congratulate Squirrel on passing her Brown Belt exam.
