A Fly on the Wall...

...just next to the window made these two behave like they were hunting a bird. You can even see Rani chattering with excitement. 

So far, they haven't hunted and eaten anything larger than flies. They do like to watch birds when they are in the garden, but don't try to catch them. I hope they will keep hunting flies and refrain from dragging anything bigger home, that would be just lovely.

Chaiyya is wearing a collar on this picture, because the terrace doors were open pretty much all day, and she likes to go outside and disappear under the shrubs. It's almost impossible to spot a black cat in the shadows, but the bright red collar gives us a chance of finding her.

By the way, we finally had some rain last night, but not much and well after midnight. Too late to go out and dance in the rain, alas!
