Blame it on the moon

Might as well... (I thought I was quoting Aussie band "The Cruel Sea" but it turns out the song was written in 1967 by Gene Thomas.)

Another day back at work.  Rain stopped so I decided to nip out just around sunset and have another go at the moon.

This one looks good to me, still has some blue in the sky.  This was taken about 2 minutes before official sunset (from what I can tell) at 100 ISO, f11, 1/125 sec but I added 1.25 EV in Luminar and boosted the "shadows" a bit.

I found this reference the other day - didn't read it all the way through but it helped me with this one at least.

The extra was taken 13 minutes before sunset at the same settings with "whites" boosted a fair bit but no other corrections.  I think what I'm looking for to help now is a $10,000 lens - just kidding - there was very light cloud (I think) so perhaps that muted the blues.
