Great blue heron

The heron was high up in the tree early this morning, I went out on the deck and snapped this shot.  So glad the new camera and this lens are so light and the auto focus is so good (my eye aren't focusing perfectly with this head-cold).  A few minutes later the heron flew right by the window! way to close for the big lens, it was squaking up a storm, I looked to the tree it had been sitting in and a very smug mature bald eagle took that spot....must be good fishing.
