Hello
Tom wanted to go out for Father’s Day. We started at a National Trust property near Penrith called Acorn Bank. There were beautiful gardens, woodland walks an a working mill to explore.
We ate lunch at Larch Cottage. They weren’t taking bookings but we managed to get our favourite seat on the balcony overlooking the gardens. The wisteria had grown so much that we had to duck to get to our table.
Next was a Jersey ice cream from the farm shop next door, Tom had sorbet.
All 3 offspring have spoken to Tom today. The rest of the day was spent chilling in the garden with alcohol.
Finally watching the next season of The Handmaids Tale.
