Eilean shiphoirt

A lazy start to the day.

Eco son and I headed out to walk his dogs. Amazing watching him work with his dogs do well behaved and gave us a chance to check out the sea loch. It looked calm so decided to paddle to the island to walk to highest point.

Arrived hot kayak to shore but spotted a kayak and swimmer so went over for a chat. Amazing swimmer and great chat, what a journey he had just completed.

A quick paddle across and changed to head up top. Steep ground with wind increasing to the summit. I sat with the Eagle scats and feathers looking at the stunning outlook.

A wee wander down and back to the kayak. Changed and over to the boy waiting to meet me. The wind had picked up so a more concentrated paddle back.

Eco son and I hauled the jayak back to the car on the roof and home.

Football and eco son made dinner. Quiet night making plans for long day in hills tomorrow.
