Family outing.

Easy relaxing day, started with a lay in for me as I heard others letting the dogs out early. Reggie is a 5 am kind of waker, and everyone knows that Kiri will need to be let out once there is activity in the house, so it was good to 'doze' knowing that the dogs were comfortable. The rain in the night woke me, then I had trouble getting back to sleep, the song I'd been singing with the children in the afternoon kept going round and round in my head ..... Not sure I dare say what is was incase it has the same effect on anyone reading this! OK, it was 'Let in go' from Frozen!!

We walked to the local small garden centre through the Carrs, where I snapped this picture. What a shame Reggie fell in dog poo on the way home when we were laden down with plants. I'm a dog owner, but it makes me so mad when people allow dogs to mess on a footpath!

The small garden centre was wonderful, very welcoming and helpful with various tips and hints, and they were fabulous with the children too. Emmeline chose plants for her 'Tree house' which is really a 'Wendy house' (but don't tell her!)

Emmeline has just asked me why I take so many photos. How to answer??? I said it was to capture moments like these. She looked confused!
