Eyes

Watching "the Great British Photography Challenge" on BBC4 earlier in the week, I really liked the tightly cropped portraits that one of the photographers took.  

I'm trying to take more "people" pictures - so convinced J to model for me in the garden (for all of 10 mins!).  Having had overcast skies and beautiful soft light all day, the sun chose that moment to come out so we had to relocate into the shade.
