multiverse

It was Luke's idea to visit the Crawick Multiverse near Sanquhar today, and a good idea it was, too, especially as the Earth turns towards the Summer Solstice. We enjoyed wandering around the landforms, which were created from a former opencast coal mine and designed by the late Charles Jencks.

The site is now covered in wildflowers and there was plenty of birdsong. Lots of visitors, too, which was was good to see. It was a shame that the sun only really came out after we had left, but it was warm and dry, so no complaints.

We had fun with the music for our road trip, each choosing a song in turn to play on Spotify. Some great choices :-)

I don't have to make the tea tonight so I'm off for a wee walk in the sunshine.
