Sweet Surrender

We are visiting family on Sunday, to help celebrate Father's Day and my mom and dad's 71st wedding anniversary and several birthdays. I wanted to take something along for them, and so I made my famous chocolate chip cookies. I used the standard Nestle Toll House recipe and semi-sweet chocolate chips.

The batch of cookies looked just grand, and so in the evening, I got one out for myself, and smothered it in Penn State Berkey Creamery cookies -n- cream ice cream. It was a delightful treat and I couldn't think of a single way to improve it. Just look at that creamy ice cream and those golden and glorious cookies! Yowza!
