Almost complete!

I had an early text from mum to say that she had asked her carer to help her shower and wash her hair this morning. The carer was devastated that she felt she couldn't ask for help and reiterated to mum what I have been telling her that she must ask, that's what they are there for. She told mum they will help her in any way that she needs; she just needs to tell them as everyone they care for has different needs. A break through? I do hope so, she was a different person when I spoke to her soon after and again in the evening. I felt I was able to relax and enjoy my day too. Fingers crossed that BT do perform on Tuesday, another large piece in the jigsaw!
Still no rain here so I didn't feel I could do any more planting so took myself to the sewing room instead. I had a go at rethreading the overlocker, much simpler than I had imagined and then almost finished the little bags. Just some pretty buttons to secure the flaps, and to distinguish one from the other, and maybe some top stitching round the flaps too. I'm quite pleased with them but I think the straps may be too long. I did make them shorter than the pattern but I'll shorten them in some way when they visit and try them for size!
I made fresh bread this morning. We bypassed lunch so decided on an early dinner of fish finger sandwiches instead. Very enjoyable if I may say so!
