Near Sunset Bay

Last day with these lovely traveling companions; here saying goodbye to the very windy beach. We made our way home along the Umpqua River, stopping by son Micah's house to share an early Fathers Day dinner with them, then home. What a rich time we had. Saw some awesome sights: from the so very blue Crater Lake, to the huge, old Redwoods, the rushing Rogue River in in a narrow gorge, a large pinecone falling from a tree, 
a buck in the forest in the evening light. We had good talks with the girls, some really deep stuff. We played games and laughed. Most of the meals they cooked for us! They want to go again, and so do we!
