what a day!

the Kindly Mister and I were invited to visit what used to be my granny's home. we live on both sides of this house - our home on one side and an annex on the other.  it is so wonderful to have a new neighbour that truly appreciates a bit of Lutyens and wants to know about its history.  they are going to make a family home of it again.

it all went south as it transpired that they only want to be nice so we would cut all our beloved trees down! so that a they could have a view of the next neighbours trees .... ???
