Bee Heaven

Possibly literally. We discovered Broadview Gardens near Tonbridge today, it’s run by Hadlow College and completely free to enter. Even has its own garden centre. For a macro photographer I was in paradise. The flowers, insects and bees were amazing. But why did some of the bees appear to be lifeless and yet in totally natural positions as if still collecting nectar? Is it the sudden drop in temperature? Are they really dead or just resting? Maybe a bee keeper could tell me. Fortunately most were still active and enjoying their own little paradise.
