Songbird

It’s been a busy day with lots going on. D was up at 1.15am to take Matt and Bill to The Isle of Sheppey for their big bike ride. I slept on and off til about 5.30 then got up to see where he was. He got back at about 6.15am and went straight to bed for a couple of hours. I was up early to take poppy to her singing teacher’s house for her grade 6 exam. Because of COVID restrictions we have to video her singing her exam pieces and upload them to the exam
board. After that we went to Sawston to pick up her prom dress from the seamstress.
This afternoon I edited reports, had a little nap then D and I came out to Whittlesford for dinner at the Tickell. Poppy has Johnnie over and they had steak and honour burgers. Alf dropped us off and is picking us up. A busy day and hoping for a quieter one tomorrow.
