Glen Einich

Bri, Nevis (pictured - if you hadn't guessed), Skye and I went on a walk today from Colyumbridge up to Loch Einich.

Its a long slog up a good/stony track (would be fine for a bike ride) to a remote loch with steep looming craggs along both sides. We were glad to get back for a cup of tea and a biscuit after 4 1/2 hours walking.

This is Nevis who stood still for about 5 seconds while he was playing fetch backwards and forwards across the mountain burn ford.

A good run down the A9 and dinner at Bri and MrsB's completed a lovely week away in the highlands. Catching up with civilisation tomorrow.
