Blencathra

Holiday Day 10

Not many people get this view.
Packed up camp on a bright morning after a dry night so everything almost dry, most unusual. Headed to Thirlmere for a final paddle of the holiday and got some great views of the Helvellyn range and down lake to Blencathra.
Picnic lunch on the shore and then to Keswick to see Mum for a couple of days. She's had a lot of visitors over the last few weeks but is still pleased to see more.
We went through town to get some food to tea but came back the back way, the market place was heaving, I wouldn't have been happy there in normal circumstances.
