Coffee stop here before catching the ferry to Islay this morning. There are nine working whiskey distilleries with two more planned on Islay, not bad for a small island in the Inner Hebrides. Laphroaig, Bruichladdich and Bowmore to name but three. We're really over looking for corncrakes and choughs, but might manage a dram, just to be sociable.
