Surveying the scene

Although to be fair by this stage we've done a very thorough scene survey and have moved onto the secondary survey of a breathing but unresponsive casualty....

Forecast to be so-so the day just got better and better, so we spent longer and longer outside. PowerPoint really is just an aide memoir nowadays (especially for the bits I don't think are important but that the syllabus still includes), so sat on the rocks talking through real world first aid always seems better than sitting at a desk discussing the different parts of a heart.
By 10 tomorrow 95% of the 'learning' will be done and then we'll head out again to put it all into (increasingly difficult) practice.
