I2I
The boys kindly agreed to let me take their photo this evening but quickly tired of my ridiculous directions, so I went through to the kitchen to sulk and drop stuff into a bowl of water and take photos of the splash instead.
I've recently worked out how to set the shutter speed on my camera so felt I was ready to take some of those cool pictures of water droplets in mid flight, beautifully lit against tantalising backgrounds. First (and overriding) problem was that the light level meant I could get no faster than 1/125. I tried various objects for the splash: a little marble, a big marble, a satsuma, a plastic eyeball and a tomato. For future reference, the tomato was the best object. All the photos, however, were worse than rubbish.
When reviewing the photos taken I found the one above to be... interesting - admittedly, in a slightly weird, creepy sort of way. Enjoy.
