Winter Solstice

For many years Katoomba has played host to the Winter Magic Festival.
Even before Covid, it became a victim of its own success.
It was so popular that insurance meant the cost was prohibitive and in 2019 it was cancelled.
Today there were dancing displays in the Carrington forecourt and despite the cruel weather everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
I sat on a cement step in order to find some photos and was so cold I was worried my joints might have been locked in place.

It was a very yellow day with performances from Hands Heart and Feet and Ghawazi Caravan.
