One year ago today I watched my Mum pass away in Hull Royal Infirmary having suffered a stroke the day before. Earlier that same day in a French hospital my uncle, who had played a major role in my life as a child, also passed away.

I have just endured Mother's Day and it would have been her birthday next week.

My head feels like a pressure cooker.
