Wildflower walk...

...in Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, with three good friends.
What a wonderful taste of normal! We all drove together to Florissant, about an hour away, talking all the way. Then we hiked for about 2 hours admiring the lovely scenery. And lastly we finished with lunch together at a Mexican restaurant sitting outside by a creek. A perfect summer morning!
