bye bye Berlin

Home now. And glad to be back with the babies and Chris. The trip was good, but it was also work and now that I am home I feel absolutely shattered. No doubt last night's disturbed sleep (students, vodka, say no more) is contributing.

The journey was quite painless after a somewhat alarming emergency stop just before take off: the pilot later explained 'bunnies on the runway' perhaps this is some kind of euphemism, because I (and I guess every other passenger) saw a very fast descending plane coming in and landing immediately in front of us.....

oh yeah and have backblipped the last few days - a couple of shots that are not too bad if you can be bothered
