This is the best weather I’ve ever experienced in Orkney in all the nine years I have been coming. It’s almost hotter than hell and I’ve had to retreat inside to cool down with a large G&T.
The sky is as blue as blue with some puffy white clouds staying across and towards the west, high in the sky, there is a ghostly half moon sitting in the heavens.
Who on earth in their right mind would chose to queue in an airport to travel abroad for sunshine when we can get the home grown variety?………I may have to amend that statement when the weather reverts to normal.
My blip is of Hoy taken as the ferry left the island. For the very eagle eyed, it may be possible to see the current Mrs Creel making her way along the shore.
