Is Everybody Here?

My week at the cottage was finished today - time to go home and work in the yard.  I took the taxi boat back to town and decided to take a short detour up to Tower Hill before driving back home.   
Just as I was parking the car, I noticed this mother groundhog and some of her children running as fast as they could through the parking lot.   I stayed in the car and took a few photos just as they were running by.   They stopped when they got to the street, checked for traffic, and then continued running down the street.   I don't know what was happening, but there didn't appear to be anything chasing them.    Very unusual!   
I then walked up by the Tower Hill Museum and the staff were outside wondering what had happened with the groundhogs and had also noticed that there were still two young groundhogs waiting in the bushes there.   I  hope the mother realizes she is missing a couple children and comes back for them soon.    The extra is of the two who were left behind.
