Patience

Princess Pavilion has been taken over by Falmouth Town Council who are determined to make a success of running the facilities, improving the gardens and bringing good acts to the hall. Stark contrast to Cornwall Council who gave the previous operators a 25 year lease - no incentive to improve, or maintain.
I often call in on my walk and today I was hoping for a coffee in the re-opened facilities but the deep cleaning required after sixteen months of standing idle is ongoing.
Today’s photo is of the bandstand, many a happy Sunday lunchtime when the children were younger, sitting in the sun listening to the brass bands or wrapped up in the winter for the carol service.

Shouldn’t be much longer to re-opening.
