Chasing about
It's been a long day, and right now I can't decide what type of chaser this is. I know one of you will help me out.
It's been an excellent and entertaining if somewhat tiring day, with lunch at Greg and Cathy's along with Brendan and Sarah and John and Wendy (both yet to give in to the lure of Blipfoto... give it time). The after lunch country walk was most enjoyable and we came across this fellow along the side of the Avon.
If at around this point we'd said, in light and happy tones, "Cathy, keep an eye on your house keys", we'd have spent less time chatting their back garden while Greg and Cathy retraced the journey. Happily, the keys were found, and all ended well.
It's the little excitements that make life interesting. So, four spotted or broad bodied? It's the blue eyes and yellow body that's throwing me. An immature specimen perhaps? I love how the image shows the wings don't so much flap as revolve... truly helicopter beasties.
